I had a very specific Criteria in my search for a new home where I wanted to have a boat dock on my property, with access to the Merrimac River.  Paul contacted and developed relationships within a condo complex that I had interest in that was located directly on the river.  Through his hard work we were able to get a heads up of unit that was about to come on the market.  We negotiated the deal prior to the home actually going on the market, and I was moved in within 60 days.  I owned another home at the time and Paul was able to get that condo sold in 12 days.  The process was seamless.

          Having lived in a Lynnfield Cape for 26 years, I came to the conclusion that mylovely 7 room house and ¾ acre yard were way too big, expensive and difficult to maintain. Perhaps it was the ever-increasing taxes, oil bills or snow plow driver’s repeated trips to the driveway in our tough winters that precipitated my decision. I knew I needed to downsize and thought a condo would be my best option.

            I contacted Paul DalBon in December. When I met him before Christmas, I found Paul to be highly focused, motivated, knowledgeable, caring, and reliable. Above all, he was supremely helpful, upbeat and ultra ready to anticipate and sur-mount any problems he might encounter in the marketing and selling of my house.

            At our initial meeting, Paul did a walk-thru, then evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the house. I agreed with his observations. He suggested pulling up the carpeting, having the hardwood floors restored, and painting a wall.

            Paul recommended people who could do this work, which speeded up the process. The house now looked terrific! His stager then provided the finishing touches.

            My house went up for sale in February and I accepted the first offer in March. Final  papers were passed in May. Day by day, every step of the way, I was totally informed and consulted about each detail.This was tremendouly mentally comforting. It de-celerated the stress in-volved in selling one’s house.

            Paul used the technology of Mass Pass, open houses, marketing analyses of the local real estate and housing and condo markets to help me get into my condo. Paul set up condo appointments and graciously accompanied me to them. I am so grateful for Paul DalBon’s help in selling my house quickly, obtaining a fair price, and venturing on to the purchase of that condo which is so right for me now.

Making a decision to leave our home of over 30 years was hard to do. We went back and forth with the decision for a bit. We contracted with a friend in real estate—wrong thing to do. From this experience we learned that friends and business do not mix. As hard as it was to make a change we learned about Paul and listed our home with him.
